The article talks of grid computing providing middleware solution. A single grid can be used for various purpose other than serving a particular application. It has an edge over cluster computing by being more loosely coupled, heterogeneous and geographically dispersed. We get to know that grid computing is a group computer resources from multiple locations which aim to reach a common goal.
